Blueberry Festival of Quilts Returns in 2026
The men and women of the Nacogdoches Quilters Guild are proud to present the 2026 Blueberry Festival of Quilts on June 12 and 13 at Fredonia Hill Baptist Church. The judged show, which coincides with the Texas Blueberry Festival, will feature over 100 beautiful quilts made by talented quilters of all skill levels. They are some of the finest quilts you will ever see. A new feature of the show this year is the Original Design category. The quilts in this new category are judged on originality and artistic merit.
Besides the quilts exhibited, there will be door prizes, a silent auction, demonstrations, vendors, and a country store. This year we have a beautiful quilt entitled “Blueberries and Cream” to raffle. The quilt is a collaborative effort of guildmembers and assembled by Lisa Fearing, quilting by Christi Curry. This exquisite quilt is being raffled off to benefit local charities. The beneficiaries of the raffle this year are Heartbeat Pregnancy Center and Love, INC.
We hope you can attend. Friday, June 12, from 10am-6 pm. Saturday, June 13, from 9 am-4pm. Fredonia Hill Baptist Church is located at 1711 South Street in Nacogdoches. Admission is $8. For more information, contact Charlene Chumley (936) 615-1960.
