Join us for the "2024 Running of the Blueberries" featuring a 5K / 10K / route on the Lanana Creek Trail, Saturday, June 8, 2024.

Running enthusiasts of all levels are invited to participate in our chip-timed 5K and 10K. Dog owners are invited to walk/run with their leashed and furry companions.
Families, children, and dog walkers looking for a gentler course will want to check out the event's 1-mile route.
This scenic 5K/10K travels along the Lanana Creek Trail/ Shofner Loop and benefits Dog Park Nacogdoches.
SHIRTS: Participants are provided with a high-quality performance t-shirt. Youth sizes are available to those who register by May 31.
START TIME: 10K will start at 7:15 AM, 5K will start at 7:30 am, and One Mile will immediately follow 5K.
COURSE: Participants will travel on the Lanana Creek Trail and roads north of Pecan Park. See routes below. There will be aid stations on the course.
PACKET PICKUP: Packet pickup will be the day before the race from 4-6 pm at the CL Simon Recreation Center at 1112 North Street. It will also be available at the Pecan Park on race morning from 6:30-7:15 am.
REFUNDS: Refunds are not offered for any reason. If you are no longer able to participate you may elect to switch your registration over to the virtual option, or you may transfer your registration to another individual, as long as you notify the race officials at least 48 hours before the race.

The Running of the Blueberries is part of the Texas Blueberry Festival presented by Tipton Ford and produced by the Nacogdoches County Chamber of Commerce. After the event, enjoy the 34th Annual Texas Blueberry Festival in downtown Nacogdoches.
This is the most delicious festival in the Lone Star State— a day-long celebration of the annual blueberry harvest.
